Damascus steel is layered — repeatedly heated, folded, and hammered until the metal develops a distinct wave pattern. Our smiths spend up to sixty hours on a single piece, refusing shortcuts.
Layers of 15N20 and 1084 are stacked, welded, and drawn out.
Twist, ladder, raindrop, or mosaic — chosen per piece.
Precise thermal cycling to 58–60 HRC for lasting edge retention.
Acid etch reveals the pattern. Handles shaped and oiled by hand.
